Dale Byers, a retired pastor, ministered to churches in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Holding an MRE from Grand Rapids Baptist Theological Seminary, he has served in jail ministries and as chaplain of the Lighthouse Neurological Rehabilitation Center, Caro, Mich. He and his wife lost their son Kerry through suicide, which led to the writing of Dale's book Suicide: How God Sustained a Family.
